Insurance

Many patients are covered by their health insurance. NovoClinic can help with pre-authorisation, so please bring your insurance details to your first appointment.

Your care after surgery

You won’t be left on your own once I fly home. Your aftercare on the island is looked after by NovoClinic’s specialist clinical nurses, Gonçalo and Megan, who check your wounds, change your dressings and keep an eye on how you’re healing.

I stay closely involved from London. The nurses keep me updated, and I review your progress with you by video call, so any decisions about your recovery are still made by me. When I’m next on the island, I’ll see you in person.
